Like many hunters, the passion of the pursuit and the awe of nature’s creation flows deep in the blood of Chris Kreiner. Also, like many hunters, Chris was introduced to the outdoors at a very young age, accompanying his father on fishing trips and sitting alongside him in tree stands. He took his very first deer at 14 and hasn’t stopped since.

In 2005, this Michigan-based hunter harvested a once-in-a-lifetime buck with a gross score of 136” as a non-typical 10 point. Igniting his passion even more, Chris started a co-operative to pursue even bigger bucks.

This dedication wasn’t just a seasonal pastime, Chris found a way of life in the heritage of hunting, discovering he not only enjoyed outdoor photography and videography, but he was also really good at it. Founded in 2008, Chris is now host, producer and editor of the hunting television show, Great Outdoor Pursuits.

Being not only an active hunter but also now a representative of the hunting community, Chris was offered plenty of opportunities to be a brand ambassador for local companies making custom calls, deer minerals and local sporting goods stores where he represented their products in the field through social media content.

Chris says, “Those were the steppingstones that I built my outdoor career on. Helping at local shows to provide customer support and answer product questions was where it all started. I spend countless hours researching product while also teaching myself how to video segments or photograph products in the field. With so many people in the Pro Staff position, it was very tough to stand out in the whitetail crowd. Personally, I had a difficult time finding my own creativity to set myself apart from thousands of others.”

Then, three years ago, Chris was added to the NightSnipe Hunting Light Pro Staff and he was introduced into the addictive world of nighttime predator hunting. Chris quickly found his niche in the pursuit of predators. “This was my calling,” he says, “I finally found a technique in nighttime photography that not many had knowledge of.”

Ending his second year as a Pro Staff brand ambassador for Pulsar thermal and digital night vision, Chris is eager to reapply, “The folks at Pulsar have put a value and trust on their Pro Staff and it’s encouraging to know the hard work creating this art is being seen by more than just my followers. Requirements

Application Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Legally allowed to own firearms
• No felony convictions
• No hunting/fishing/game violations
• Must meet at least one of the following qualifications:
  • Have a sizable social media following
  • Military or law enforcement personnel who is actively producing relevant industry content
  • Be an industry writer
• Must own at least 1 Pulsar product

Required Documents

• Resume
• High-quality headshot
• Creative portfolio with at least 3-5 of your best hunting/shooting/LE photos
• Industry-relevant writing sample if you are interested in writing

Program Terms & Rules

• The relationship begins January 15, 2021, and ends December 31, 2021.
• Pro Staff members are expected to reapply each year between November 1 – December 15 unless otherwise stated by Sellmark Corporation.
• Late applications will not be accepted.
• Pro Staff must provide content on a regular basis with personal units. (Regular cadence of 5 engagements (post, share, etc.) per month.)
• Pulsar Pro Staff will be limited to 25 Pro Staff spots.
