About
I've been an avid hunter and outdoorsman for most of my life. Some of my earliest hunting memories are of skinning my first two whitetail bucks with my late grandfather after harvesting them on our family ranch—before I was even in junior high. Growing up in a ranching family in North Central Texas instilled in me a lifelong passion for hunting, conservation, and the outdoors.
Over the years, I've pursued a wide variety of game, including ducks, doves, varmints, whitetail deer, and wild hogs. Today, my hunting partners and I—known as The Texas Swine Stoppers—specialize in thermal night hog hunting. For the past four years, we've focused almost exclusively on controlling invasive feral hog populations, continually refining our skills and tactics to help reduce their impact on Texas landowners and wildlife.
In January 2026, I was honored to join the Pulsar Prostaff team. Our group currently runs SIG Sauer Spear LT rifles chambered in 7.62×39, equipped with Pulsar Thermion 2 XL60 LRF thermal scopes. We also rely on KJI tripods, and I'm proud that KJI, Pulsar's sister company, has also partnered with our team. Through extensive field testing and real-world experience, we've developed a setup that performs exceptionally well for the unique demands of North Texas hog hunting.
Outside of hunting, I have proudly served as a Texas peace officer for the past 10 years. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to introduce fellow officers to hunting and the outdoors. Watching them discover the camaraderie, challenge, and stress relief that hunting provides has been one of the most rewarding aspects of sharing this passion. Whether in uniform or in the field, I value discipline, teamwork, conservation, and responsible firearm ownership, and I'm grateful for every opportunity to represent those values.
