About
Dylan Treaster grew up in the mountains of central Pennsylvania, hunting squirrels with his dad at age five and chasing birds around the backyard with a Red Ryder BB gun. By twelve he'd discovered predator hunting, running old Johnny Stewart electronic callers and hunting at night with red miner-style helmet lights, long before thermal optics changed the sport. Today he has more than 20 years of predator hunting under his belt and over eight years running thermal, having hunted across the eastern United States, the Midwest, and the Southwest. His home ground remains central Pennsylvania, where heavily pressured, low-density Eastern coyotes have forced him to stay adaptable and think outside the box. Beyond predators, Dylan hunts whitetail deer, black bear, elk, waterfowl, and wild turkey, and is currently working toward harvesting a turkey in all 49 huntable states, with 9 completed so far.
Outside of hunting, Dylan works as an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager, building workplace safety programs, identifying hazards, and running risk assessments — an analytical mindset that carries straight into the field, where every stand means reading terrain, wind, and animal behavior. He's been a member of the Pulsar Pro Staff since 2023, contributing to product testing, field evaluations, equipment reviews, and educational content. Through his YouTube channel, FNF (Feathers N Fur), along with Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, Dylan shares real-world hunting footage, honest product feedback, and practical thermal hunting tips aimed at helping other hunters succeed.
Over nearly 30 years of hunting, Dylan has harvested hundreds of coyotes and well over 1,000 foxes, including a 51-pound Pennsylvania coyote, and has placed in multiple local predator hunting tournaments. He's a contributor to the Pulsar Online Journal, and FNF has grown to more than 10,000 YouTube subscribers.
